What makes a powerful performance, and why does it move us so deeply? How do musicians handle stage fright? How can art inspire all of us to be more courageous and creative in our everyday lives? Violist and writer Nora Krohn and TBMS Community Programs Manager Sarah Grosman will explore these questions that get at the core of how artistic vulnerability promotes an enlivening of the human heart.
The Daytime Lecture Performance series features lecture recitals by TBMS faculty members, presented in partnership with Lenox Hill Neighborhood House at St. Peter’s Church. The free event series is open to the public, but RSVP is required: http://tbms.org/event/lecture-confronting-fear-finding-bravery-performance/
Lectures are held on Thursdays from 10:30-11:30am at St. Peter’s Church, 619 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10022.
