A String Player's Tools for Musician's Focal Dystonia Recovery (and Other Injuries, Too!)

In this video, I discuss one of the best tools at our disposal during recovery from Musician's Focal Dystonia: comparison between affected and non affected body parts. Comparing the sensations and responses of our brain and body when we interact with everyday objects vs. the violin, viola, or cello (or between affected and non-affected body parts) creates a direct experience of the “physical logic” that makes recovery (from any kind of injury!) possible.
